Request approval to renew an existing contract - Finance Department, 25RFPDENT052325C-MH, Employee Healthcare Benefit Plan - Dental with Aetna Life Insurance Company (Atlanta, GA) to administer: [1] Dental PPO (DPPO) Plan on a self-funded basis and [2] Dental HMO (DHMO) Plan on an insured basis, to eligible employees, retirees, beneficiaries and their covered dependents. This action exercises the first of four renewal options. Three renewal options remain. Effective dates: January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027.

Scope of Work: The continuous of Employee Healthcare Benefit Plan – Dental with Aetna Life Insurance Company (Atlanta, GA): [1] Dental PPO (DPPO) Plan on a self-funded basis and [2] Dental HMO (DHMO) Plan on an insured basis, to eligible employees, retirees, beneficiaries and their covered dependents.
Community Impact: This contract provides dental plan benefit coverage to eligible Fulton County active employees, retirees, beneficiaries and covered dependents.
Department Recommendation: The Finance Department recommends renewal of the above options.
Project Implications: Approval is needed immediately begin communication to employees, retirees and beneficiaries for open enrollment.
