Summary & Background
The Georgia Radio Reading Service was approved as a part of the Department of Arts and Culture’s 2026 Contracts for Services (CFS) recommendations on July 15, 2026 (Agenda Item # 26-0403) and under the subsequent amended award on August 19, 2026 (Agenda Item # 26-0486) as a named recipient of the funding. However, it was discovered that Georgia Radio Reading Service, Inc. changed its legal name to Vocal Point, d/b/a Georgia Radio Reading Service, Inc., effective May 19, 2025, but the correct legal name was not included in the CFS application.
