A Certificate of Amendment was filed with the GA Secretary of State on February 10, 2023, changing the name of Kingdom Mentoring Center, Inc. to Kingdom Mentors International Corp.
Scope of Work: For compliance with Fulton County Government policies and contract agreement terms and conditions, a name change must be approved by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners. There are no changes in contract terms and conditions, and services will continue to be provided at the same level required for the project.
Community Impact: Summer Youth Job Training Program (SYJTP) funding will provide Fulton County teens with the opportunity to gain work experience, develop interpersonal skills, and learn and explore career interests while earning income during the summer.
Department Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Project Implications: Kingdom Mentoring Center, Inc. was approved as a part of the 2023 Summer Youth Job Training Program recommendations on June 21, 2023 (Agenda item#23-0427). Reflect the correct name of Kingdom Mentors International Corp. on official county documents going forward.
Community Issues/Concerns: The Department of Community Development is not aware of any community issues/concerns regarding the agenda item.
