Summary & Background Approval to renew 2nd extension on existing contract to provide continued auto damage appraisal services on County owned vehicles for twelve (12) additional months.
Scope of Work: The vendor above was selected via an RFP process and approved by the BOC on 10/3/2018. Currently the vendor provides auto damage appraisal services on a per vehicle basis. These are performed both on County and/or privately owned vehicles where damages are the result of a County involved accident/collision. This information is necessary to validate required repairs as well as determine the appropriate dollar amount of the claimant’s vehicle in the event of a total loss.

Department Recommendation: Finance recommends approval to extend existing contract for twelve (12) additional months.
The 2nd renewal for twelve (12) month time period effective January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025, is being requested to ensure continued auto physical damage appraisal services.
Project Implications: This contract ensures validation of vehicles losses due to accidents/collisions on both County and private vehicles when necessary.
