Summary & Background: On March 3, 2023, Public Works issued a $100K purchase order for Analytical Environmental Services Inc., #23ITB137323A-KM, to provide Laboratory Testing Services. The County approved a renewal for this contract on March 6, 2024, BOC Item # 24-0145 with Analytical Environmental Services, Inc.
Eurofins Environment Testing Southeast, LLC and Analytical Environmental Services Inc., merged in March 2024 and Eurofins Environment Testing Southeast, LLC was the surviving entity.
Scope of Work: The name change needs to be approved by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners to be in compliance with the Fulton County Government policies and contract agreement terms and conditions. There are no changes in the terms and conditions of the existing contract.
Community Impact: There is no community impact.
Department Recommendation: The Department of Public Works recommends approval.
Project Implications: Reflect the correct name change on the existing contracts and purchase/delivery orders going forward.
