Request approval to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Allied Universal Security Services, Inc., who is authorized to do business in the State of Georgia. It is desirable to have a unified system to include entities on the County System that affect and further the goal of protecting the citizens of Fulton County’s health, safety, and welfare, and provides public health in Fulton County.
Allied Universal Security Services, Inc., will pay Fulton County $393.00 per the number of radio units of 37 for fiscal years 2023 and 2024, which equals an annual cost of $14,541.00. The pro rata share for fiscal years 2025 and 2026 will increase by approximately 6% to $417.00 multiplied by the number of transportation radio units of 37, which equals an annual cost of $15,429.00.
The Board of Commissioners previously approved the provision of the Digital 800 MHz Radio System Access with Allied Universal Security Services, Inc. during their meeting on April 14, 2021 (Item # 21-0256).
