Summary & Background Fulton County Department of External Affairs seeks to engage an agency to support major organizational communications initiatives, including both communications and engagement support to raise awareness of major initiatives and create information tools with accurate, timely messages for Fulton County residents.
Scope of Work: The firm will be responsible for Communications and Engagement support to support major Fulton County initiatives, including justice / public safety and health / human services.
The work will include:
• Communications Research - Review of materials, previous media coverage, stakeholder interviews, and social listening activities
• Strategy / Message Development - Based on research activities, develop communication and engagement strategies including identification of stakeholders and message mapping. The firm will be an active partner in execution of communication and engagement strategies.
• Community Engagement Framework Development & Implementation
• Media Relations - Development of a robust media relations plan. Execution of plan to include story pitching / placement, response to media inquiries, and other media relations strategies & tools.
• Strategies, message development, templates to address emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.
• Project Management - Tracking of deliverables and impact measurement
Community Impact: Fulton County residents and stakeholders will benefit from improved access to accurate, timely and fact-based information tools for major initiatives, including justice and public safety, healthcare access / mental health access, and more.

Project Implications: This project will support a range of projects across the organization, notably in the area of justice and public safety and health access - two of the greatest areas of concern facing Fulton County Government and our constituents today.
