Summary & Background
The proposed Johns Creek Fire Station 63 Project, a commercial development, requires a water line easement dedication. Fulton County development regulations require that all new water service line connections acknowledge Fulton County’s ownership interests in the area(s) where a connection is being made to the County’s water system before recording the Final Plat. The easement area to be conveyed consists of 225 square feet and is in Land Lot 895 and 924 of the 1st District, 2nd Section of Fulton County, Georgia.
Community Impact: The community will benefit from the extension of the County’s water system and the addition of a commercial development.
Department Recommendation: The Department of Real Estate and Asset Management recommends acceptance of the easement dedication.
Project Implications: Easement dedications by the legal owner of record to Fulton County are made a part of public records and grant Fulton County access as necessary to perform construction, maintenance, and upgrades to the water system once the proposed improvements are installed on the owner’s property
