The American Rescue Plan Act is the project funding source. The project had an initial project budget of $15M. If approved, the total project cost will be $14,441,331.31.
Community Impact: The successful completion of this project will provide citizens with access to Fulton County’s first ever Behavioral Health Crisis facility. This facility will provide previously unavailable access to care and treatment options for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
Department Recommendation: The Department of Real Estate and Asset Management recommends approval.
Project Implications: The approval of this change request is necessary to complete the project to be in compliance with GA BHDD and Grady Health Services standards for Behavioral Health Crisis Units.
Community Issues/Concerns: None of which the Department is aware.
Department Issues/Concerns: If this request is not approved, project completion will be delayed and will not meet the requirements of the State of GA Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities and Grady Health Services. DREAM does not have the in-house capacity to complete the project.
