Request approval to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with the City of Johns Creek, which is a governmental authority authorized to do business in the State of Georgia. It is desirable to have a unified system to include entities on the County System that affect and further the goal of protecting the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Fulton County, and provides public safety services to the citizens of the City of Johns Creek in Fulton County.
The City of Johns Creek will pay the pro rata share for fiscal years 2023 and 2024 $417.00 times the number of radio units 292 plus $1,830.00 times the number of MCC7500 consoles, 4 which equals an annual cost of $129,084.00. The pro rata share for years 2025 and 2026 will increase by approximately 6% to $442.00 times the number of radio units 292 plus $1,830.00 times the number of MCC7500 consoles, 4 which equals an annual cost of $136,384.00.
The Board of Commissioners approved the provision of the Digital 800 MHz Radio System Access with the City of Johns Creek, during their meeting on December 19, 2018 (Item # 18-0910).
