Summary & Background: The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is requesting approval of the recommended proposal resulting from RFP No. 26RFP1600540B-PS for Delinquent Tax Sales Preparation Services. Government Tax Services, LLC., located in Carrollton, Georgia, has been recommended to provide professional services in support of the Sheriff’s Office delinquent tax sale process.
The services will include typewritten title examinations, preparation of abstracts, and delinquent tax sale preparation services. These services are necessary to support the Sheriff’s Office in researching property ownership and interests, preparing required documentation, and completing the administrative requirements associated with conducting delinquent tax sales.
Previous contract (22RFP0405B-PS) has a 90 day extension in place that expires October 29, 2026. This agreement will be effective October 30, 2026 through December 31, 2026, with three renewal options. The agreement is revenue-neutral and will not require funding from the Sheriff’s Office operating budget.
Scope of Work: The Sheriff's Office uses Title Search Services to provide notices to each and every owner, mortgage company, and/or any party with an interest in property that is slated to be sold at the Sheriff's Office Delinquent Property Tax Sales.

Department Recommendation: The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office recommends approval of the recommended proposal for RFP No. 26RFP1600540B-PS, Delinquent Tax Sales Preparation Services, with Government Tax Services, LLC. The recommended vendor will provide title examinations, abstracts, and delinquent tax sale preparation services necessary to support the Sheriff’s Office in the administration and execution of delinquent tax sales. Approval of this agreement will ensure continuity of these essential services and support the timely and efficient processing of delinquent tax sale activities. The agreement is revenue neutral and will have no impact on the Sheriff’s Office operating budget.
