The ESG program assists people to quickly regain stability in permanent housing after experiencing a housing crisis and/or homelessness.

 

Scope of Work: ESG funds may be used for street outreach, emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, rapid re-housing assistance, Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), and administrative activities.

Department Recommendation: Approval of the requested actions to complete actions below:  Amend the contract service dates for (City of East Point, Latin American Association and 24/7 Gateway, LLC), approved by the BOC on April 14, 2021 (Agenda Item # 21-0252), from May 1, 2021 - April 30, 2022 to May 1, 2021 - November 30, 2022.  This action will allow the agency more time to expend the funding allocated.  These are ESG grant funds which expire on February 8, 2023.
