Request approval to renew an existing contract – Department of Public Works, 24ITB1302727A-KM, South Fulton Maintenance & Operations Center Demonstration Garden in an amount not to exceed $21,422.34 with Crabapple Turf Management, Inc. dba Crabapple LandscapEXPERTS (Alpharetta, GA), to provide landscape maintenance services. This action exercises the second of two renewal options. No renewal options remain. Effective dates: January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026.

Summary & Background: The Department of Public Works requests approval to renew the existing contract to provide landscape maintenance services.
Scope of Work: This contract provides comprehensive landscape maintenance services for the pollinator and rain gardens located at the Demonstration Garden at the South Fulton Operations and Maintenance Center on Cochran Road in South Fulton.
Community Impact: The garden serves as an outdoor classroom for education of staff, local schools, businesses, and citizens on the importance of water-wise landscaping, wildlife and pollinators.
Department Recommendation: Department of Public Works recommend approval to renew the existing contract.
Project Implications: The ongoing maintenance of the garden allows Public Works to provide the community with continued educational and outreach opportunities on water conservation, water quality, and environmental stewardship.
