Summary & Background: This request is for the approval for the temporary staffing services for the Special Election HD 68 Runoff Election and for reimbursement for the rental of box trucks with Enterprise Leasing of Georgia, LLC. The initial contract included the Special Runoff Election.
Budget soundings were previously approved to fund the Dover Staffing temporary staffing for the May & June HD 68 run-off elections.

Scope of Work: The statewide contract provides supplemental staffing services to prepare and conduct the above-mentioned scheduled elections.
Community Impact: There will be a negative effect on the community if the voter registration and elections’ process is not handled efficiently due to shortage of staff for all areas needed to conduct a countywide election.
Department Recommendation: The Department of Registration and Elections recommends approval.
Project Implications: The approval of statewide contract to provide temporary staffing services will ensure the Department to follow state election laws.
