Summary & Background: Registration & Elections request approval of amendment to existing Annual Maintenance Listing (AML) software & hardware service contracts with Dominion Voting Systems, Inc. to change service periods from rolling 12-month contracts to a calendar year (January 1 to December 31) to improve efficiency and ensure timely payments of invoices.
Scope of Work: Amending the Annual Maintenance Listing contracts with Dominion Voting Systems, Inc. to standardize service periods to a calendar year (January 1 to December 31), replacing the current rolling 12-month contracts. This involves consolidating agreements, updating contracts, adjusting invoice cycles, and modifying our internal systems to streamline management, enhance budgeting, and align all services within one annual billing cycle.
Community Impact: Standardizing service periods to a calendar year will enhance the continuity and reliability of election support. This alignment provides consistent maintenance for all voting hardware and software, reducing service gaps during crucial election periods.
Department Recommendation: Department of Registration & Elections requests approval.
