Request approval to amend an existing contract - Department of Real Estate and Asset Management, 24ITB110124C-MH, Janitorial Services for Selected Fulton County Facilities (Groups E, F, G, H, & I) in the amount not to exceed $139,353.00 with (B) American Facility Services, Inc. (Alpharetta, GA); to add the Anna Harvin Grant Building located at 515 Fairburn Road, Atlanta, GA 30331 to the existing Janitorial Contract Group I (North & South Service Centers, and Fulton County Animal Services Facility), to assign the janitorial services responsibilities in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. Effective upon BOC approval, through December 31, 2026.

Summary & Background: This amendment is to add Anna Harvin Grant Building located at 515 Fairburn Road, Atlanta, GA 30331 to the existing contract Janitorial Services (Group I) to American Facility Services, Inc., effective upon BOC approval, through December 31, 2026.
• Total Gross - 98,200 Sq. Ft.
• Cleanable 82,488 Sq. Ft.
The Anna Harvin Grant building was recently repurposed to house the Accountability Court program of Superior Court Administration. The State of Georgia, a lease tenant, has vacated the facility and was previously responsible for providing janitorial services.
Scope of Work: The Scope includes all labor, materials, cleaning supplies, restroom supplies (including feminine products, soap, toilet seat covers, toilet tissue, paper towels, and other required supplies) and equipment necessary to provide janitorial services at this facility, to include day porter services.
Community Impact: The overall community impact is to provide clean and sanitary to this County facility.
Department Recommendation: The Department of Real Estate and Asset Management recommends approval.
Project Implications: This amendment will allow the existing Janitorial Contractor to provide janitorial services for the Anna Harvin Grant Building due to the repurposing of the facility as the primary location for the Superior Court Administration’s Accountability Court.
Community Issues/Concerns: None that the Department is aware.
Department Issues/Concerns: If this contract amendment is not approved, there will be a delay in providing janitorial services for the Anna Harvin Grant Building.
