Request approval to amend an existing contract pursuant to Item #23-0186 with The Networked Planet, LLC located in St. Petersburg, Florida to increase the spending authority for website maintenance pursuant to the Ryan White Part A Program and the Ending the HIV Epidemic Funding for services to be provided in Grant Year 2024 for an additional amount of $11,327.00 for a total amount not to exceed $19,327.00. There is no required County match and the project is 100% grant funded. Request authorization for the Chairman to execute contract with selected subrecipient. To protect the interest of the County, the County Attorney is authorized to approve the contracts as to form and substance and make any necessary modifications thereto prior to execution by the Chair. Effective March 1, 2024. (APPROVED UPON ADOPTION OF THE CONSENT AGENDA)

Scope of Work: The Department for HIV Elimination recommends amending an existing contract with The Networked Planet, LLC. to increase the spending authority by $11,327.00. The Board of Commissioners previously approved a contract with The Networked Planet, LLC for development of a website and ongoing maintenance of the website. This request is to increase funds available for website maintenance in GY2024 to $19,237.00. Additional funding will support full website documentation, improve accessibility for all users, and connect website to newly launched social media accounts, and ongoing updates and plug-in renewals. The website serves as a tool to: increase transparency; provide information to clients, subrecipients and the general public; link citizens to services; share policies and procedures and grant requirements; and, provide information on the Metropolitan Atlanta HIV Health Services Planning Council.
Community Impact: The website will provide useful information to the public, subrecipients, and clients regarding programs and services administered by the Department for HIV Elimination.
Department Recommendation: The Department for HIV Elimination recommends Approval of modification of a contract with The Networked Planet, LLC to increase spending authority for website development and maintenance pursuant to the Ryan White Part A Program and the Ending the HIV Epidemic Funding for an amount not to exceed $19,237 in Grant Year 2024.
Project Implications: No change in the departmental budget. This contract is 100% grant-funded with no County match.
