Summary & Background: FūsusOne is a cloud-based Real-Time Command Center map interface that combines private and public video streams into a single feed, enabling greater situational awareness and a common operating picture. Video streams from fixed and mobile sources are all seamlessly combined into a single platform. This platform will be leveraged by the Fulton County Police Department to support their public safety operations and the communities they serve via mutual aid information sharing in the Metro Atlanta area.

 

This software system will provide a common operating platform for Smart City/County and Real-Time Command Center functionality to support public safety and the communities they serve through mutual aid information sharing in the Metro Atlanta area. As an example, some of the neighboring agencies include Georgia Building Authority, Georgia Department of Corrections, the City of Atlanta, City of Roswell, City of Alpharetta, City of South Fulton, Cobb County, Cherokee County, DeKalb County, Clayton County, and Henry County share information seamlessly through Fūsus.

 

Scope of Work: To provide law enforcement with video and data collection platform to expedite intelligence gathering and efficiency of response to situations as they unfold and to provide critical information and resource sharing capabilities between various law enforcement agencies to allow seamless communication capabilities.  

 

This is a new system and in accordance with Purchasing Code Section 102-386 regarding intellectual property, the anticipated useful life of the intellectual property is a minimum of 10 years and the anticipated annual cost for maintenance and support agreement, service agreement and licensing fees in order to maintain the intellectual property over its useful life is estimated at $350,000.00 annually beginning in 2025.

 

Community Impact: This project will allow the County to operate a Real-Time Command Center for public safety.

 

Department Recommendation: The Department of Information Technology, Sheriff, and the Fulton County Police Department recommends approval.
