Request approval of a recommended proposal - Public Works, 23RFP139070K-JAJ, Progressive Design/Build Services for Campbellton Pump Station and Force Main in an amount not to exceed $1,918,000.00 with Sol Construction, LLC to deliver an 80% design with a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) associated with the design and construction of the Campbellton Pump Station and Force Main effective upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed for 180 consecutive days. In accordance with the State of Georgia O.C.G.A ? 36-91-1 et seq., Georgia Local Government Public Works Construction Law, all competitive sealed bids costing $100,000 or more for public works construction projects shall be forwarded to the Board of Commissioners for approval.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND: The South Fulton Capacity Study, presented to the BOC as Item No. 21-0143 on 2/17/2021, detailed the sanitary sewer services throughout the South Fulton County service area needed to maintain the expected levels of service and accommodate the anticipated developmental needs. The Campbellton Pump Station and its associated force main was quantified and located to best prepare the County for where developmental growth would occur and the impact that growth would have on the County's existing facilities.
