On July 14, 2021, the Board of Commissioners approved BOC Item 21-0328 to utilize the statewide contract to provide supplemental staffing services to prepare and conduct scheduled elections. The spending authority approved was for a 12 month period. The BOC agenda item approval date was July 14, 202 through December 31, 2021 and only six months of the spending authority was utilized. The spending authority originally approved has not been exhausted and Registration and Elections is requesting to extend the existing contract for a time extension only for a six-month period through June 30, 2022 in order to conduct the following elections:
