Title: Request approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City of South Fulton, Georgia and Fulton County, Georgia, by which the City and the County would agree to fire protection, fire suppression, emergency medical response, community risk reduction, rescue, hazardous material response, technical rescue, ancillary fire services and support assistance, and first response non-transport emergency medical services within the specific boundaries of the unincorporated portion of Fulton County, Georgia. The IGA is effective January 1, 2026 and ending on December 31, 2026. This Agreement may renew on January 1st of each successive year for up to three (3) years. This Agreement may not be renewed or enforced beyond December 31, 2029. Renewal of this Agreement shall require written notice by both the County and the City and shall not be automatic. Request approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City of South Fulton, Georgia and Fulton County, Georgia, by which the City and the County would agree to fire protection, fire suppression, emergency medical response, community risk reduction, rescue, hazardous material response, technical rescue, ancillary fire services and support assistance, and first response non-transport emergency medical services within the specific boundaries of the unincorporated portion of Fulton County, Georgia.
