SUMMARY & BACKGROUND The proposed Gathering - Phase 2 Project, a residential development, requires a water line easement dedication. Fulton County development regulations require that all new water service line connections acknowledge Fulton County's access rights in the area(s) where a connection is being made to the County's water system before recording the Final Plat. The easement area to be conveyed consists of 7,257 square feet and is in Land Lots 745 and 746 of the 1st District, 2nd Section of Fulton County, Georgia.
Community Impact: The community will benefit from the extension of the County's water system and the addition of a residential development.
Department Recommendation: The Department of Real Estate and Asset Management recommends acceptance of the easement dedication.
Project Implications: : Easement dedications by the legal owner of record to Fulton County are made a part of public records and grant Fulton County access as necessary to perform construction, maintenance, and upgrades to the water system once the proposed improvements are installed on the owner's property.
