(Smyrna, GA), to install M30 Rated Active Hydraulically Retractable Wedge Barriers at the Fulton County Government Center Complex. Effective upon issuance of Notice to proceed for a period of 180 calendar days. (APPROVED)

In accordance with O.C.G.A ? 36-91-20, all competitive sealed bids costing $100,000.00 or more for public works construction projects shall be forwarded to the Board of Commissioners for approval.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND
Currently, Fulton County does not have the means of preventing unauthorized vehicle access to the executive parking garage and loading dock of the Government Center. The Fulton County Police Department worked with DREAM to develop a solicitation for the provision and installation of M30 Rated Active Wedge barriers.
One proposal received. A single bid analysis was conducted, and the Department of Purchasing & Contract Compliance has determined it is in the County's best interest to proceed with awarding this procurement.
Scope of Work: The work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all necessary materials, labor, tools, equipment, appurtenances, permits, and project oversight necessary to perform the installation of the Wedge Barriers (including the site development) for the Fulton County Police Department.
