Request approval to renew an existing contract - External Affairs, 24RFP1320756A-BKJ, State Intergovernmental & Interagency Affairs Services, in the amount of $144,000.00 with Georgia Public Affairs, LLC, (Atlanta, GA) to provide State Intergovernmental & Interagency Affairs Services. The action exercises the first of two renewal options. One renewal option remains. Effective dates: January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026. (APPROVED UPON ADOPTION OF THE CONSENT AGENDA)

In accordance with Purchasing Code Section 102-394(6), the Purchasing Department shall present all renewal requests to the Board of Commissioners at least 90 days prior to the contract renewal date, 60 days if the contract term is six (6) months or less.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND: This request to renew will continue to provide State Intergovernmental & Interagency Affairs services that will assist the County on a broad range of issues involving state policy and engagement with State officials in the General Assembly, State agencies, and engagement with elected and appointed officials.
