Scope of Work: These revisions have been recommended by the County Attorney's Office following the BOC's previous adoption of the Pregnant Worker Fairness Act Policy (“PWFAP”) Resolution #23-0884 in December 2023 and the 2022 enactment of the federal Providing Urgent Maternal Protections for Nursing Mothers Act (commonly known as the “PUMP for Nursing Mother’s Act” or “PUMP Act”)  to ensure compliance with local and federal law.
