Request approval of a Memorandum of Understanding between Fulton County and Morehouse College for the provision of the Digital 800 MHz Radio System Access. The MOU is from July 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023, with five (5) automatic renewals commencing on January 1 of each successive year, ending December 31, 2028. Request approval to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Morehouse College, which is a private historically education institution, authorized to do business in the State of Georgia. It is desirable to have a unified system to include entities on the County System that affect and further the goal of protecting the citizens of Fulton County's health, safety, and welfare, and provides public safety services to the citizens of Fulton County.
Morehouse College will pay the pro rata share for fiscal year 2023 (July-December), $417.00 multiplied by the number of radio units of 35, which equals a cost of $6,081.25 ($1,216.25 per month).
