Request approval of a Contract Item Agreement (CIA) between Fulton County and the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) for the relocation of sewer facilities associated with the improvement of existing left turn lanes on Fulton Industrial Boulevard (SR70) at its intersection with Bucknell Drive in Fulton County, Project ID #0019648. The project includes relocating approximately 71 linear feet of 8-inch sewer lines and associated appurtenances within Fulton County. The estimated cost of the project is $54,350.00.

GA CONST Art. 9, ? 3, ? I provides that the County may contract for any period not exceeding 50 years with any other public agency, public corporation, or public authority for joint services, for the provision of services, or for the joint or separate use of facilities or equipment; but such contracts must deal with activities, services, or facilities that the contracting parties are authorized by law to undertake or provide. Further, O.C.G.A ? 36-10-1 provides that "[a]ll official contracts entered into by the County governing authority with other persons on behalf of the County shall be in writing and entered on its minutes."
