Request approval to renew an existing contract - Superior Court Administration, 23RFP1208B-RT, Electronic Pretrial Monitoring Services in an amount not to exceed $2,200,000.00 with A 2nd Chance Monitoring (Marietta, GA), to provide electronic pretrial monitoring services for the County's Electronic Monitoring Program by coordinating and providing electronic monitoring services for those participants the County has determined to be eligible for pretrial electronic monitoring awaiting trial by and under the jurisdiction of the County. This action exercises the second of four renewal options. Two renewal options remain. Effective dates: January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026.

REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION
In accordance with Purchasing Code Section 102-394(6), the Purchasing Department shall present all renewal requests to the Board of Commissioners at least 90 days prior to the contract renewal date, 60 days if the contract terms is six (6) months or less.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND: This is a request to renew the contract for electronic monitoring services for Pretrial. The County made a decision to provide electronic monitoring and GPS services for those participants the County has determined to be eligible for pretrial electronic monitoring awaiting trial by and under the jurisdiction of the County in order to address and alleviate overcrowding conditions at the Fulton County Jail.
