Request approval to utilize cooperative purchasing - Department of Real Estate and Asset Management, GSA Contract-GS-07F-0512T, Vehicle Signal and Restraint Equipment in the total amount not to exceed $1,064,407.00 with Dana Safety Supply, Inc. (Jacksonville, FL), for the purchase, delivery, and installation of emergency vehicle equipment for forty-nine (49) law enforcement vehicles for the Fulton County Police Department (11), Sheriff's Office (23), and Marshal's Office (15). This is a one-time procurement.

REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION
In accordance with Purchasing Code Section 102-462, requests for approval to utilize cooperative purchasing or state contracts of more than $100,000 shall be forwarded to the Board of Commissioners for approval.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND All three (3) law enforcement agencies received new vehicles as a part of the County's Enterprise lease-purchase program. Law enforcement vehicles require several post-delivery upgrades before they can be placed in service.
This Federal General Services Administration (GSA) contract will allow the County to purchase and install emergency vehicle equipment packages on 49 vehicles at a discounted volume-based price.
Scope of Work: To provide and install emergency vehicles equipment packages for 49-total law enforcement vehicles for Fulton County.
