SUMMARY & BACKGROUND: The Department of Human Resources (DHRM) was tasked with reviewing the status of Exempt positions to ensure that the County is in compliance with FLSA standards.
DHRM engaged ComplianceHR to provide a software tool Navigator OT because the vendor could immediately implement and provide the resources and software required to review the accuracy of exempt status designations for specific job classifications. DHRM has used Navigator OT to assess over 300 classifications and will continue to utilize to review and validate exempt classifications. It will also assist in mitigating any future FLSA claims related to overtime exemptions.
DHRM seeks ratification and approval of the contract for services and renewal of SaaS Agreement so that DHRM can pay the outstanding invoices of $40,400.00.
This is a Software as a Service (SaaS) agreement and in accordance with County Purchasing Section ?102-386, regarding intellectual property this item will be added to the FY2025 AML List.
