SUMMARY & BACKGROUND
Department of Public Works requests approval of a no cost change order with Trident Construction Group, LLC. to amend the Mechanical Specifications and Contract Duration.
Scope of Work:
On August 18, 2021 the Fulton County BOC approved a contract award to Trident Construction Group (Atlanta, GA) for the renovation of the existing Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Facility (ARFF). At that time, the agreed upon completion timeline of the work was 210 calendar days.
Since issuance of the contract, the ongoing pandemic has had an increasingly adverse impact on the construction supply system, resulting in delivery delays and supply availability. Therefore, we are requesting the following contract amendment in order to meet these extraordinary circumstances.
