The Clerk of the Superior Court serving in Fulton County shall be required to appoint, from among the assistants in the office of said clerk, a chief deputy clerk who shall serve at the will and pleasure of the person making the appointment. Upon making said appointment the same shall be spread upon the minutes of the Board of Commissioners for Fulton County. Pursuant to O.C.G.A. ?15-6-59 and effective March 2, 2023, Che' Alexander was appointed as Chief Deputy Clerk of Fulton County's Superior Court. As Chief Deputy Clerk, she shall become the Clerk of Superior Court under the conditions of O.C.G.A. ? 15-6-53. Che' Alexander further accepts the additional clerk roles currently held by the incumbent Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts and shall assume such roles to the extent provided by law.
