Request approval to enter into subrecipient agreements with the non-profit agencies identified in Attachment "A" utilizing federal grant funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as part of the Youth Homelessness System Improvement (YHSI) initiative in the total amount of $1,316,889.24. These grants will be utilized for services provided over a 30-month period beginning on October 1, 2024 through March 31, 2027.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND: Request approval to enter into subrecipient agreements with the non-profit agencies identified in Attachment "A" as part of the HUD Youth Homelessness System Improvement (YHSI) initiative in the total amount of $1,316,889.24. YHSI funding aims to improve the systems serving at-risk youth experiencing homelessness, increase youth outreach and engagement, create youth-specific connections to services, develop region-wide partnerships including education, child welfare, and juvenile justice and improve data systems and information sharing. These grants will be utilized over a 30-month period.
