SUMMARY & BACKGROUND: Request approval to enter into subrecipient agreements with the non-profit agencies identified in Attachment "A" as part of the HUD Youth Homelessness System Improvement (YHSI) initiative in the total amount of $1,316,889.24. YHSI funding aims to improve the systems serving at-risk youth experiencing homelessness, increase youth outreach and engagement, create youth-specific connections to services, develop region-wide partnerships including education, child welfare, and juvenile justice and improve data systems and information sharing. These grants will be utilized over a 30-month period.
