In accordance with Purchasing Code Section 102-394(6), the Purchasing Department shall present all renewal requests to the Board of Commissioners at least 90 days prior to the contract renewal date, 60 days if the contract term is six (6) months or less.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND: The Department of Public Works recommends approval to renew existing contract with Integrated Science Engineering, Inc. to provide water quality monitoring services.

Scope of Work: This contract with Integrated Science Engineering, Inc. provides essential water quality monitoring and related services required for Fulton County's compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits for wastewater treatment. These permits mandate water quality monitoring in support of the County's Watershed Protection Plan (WPP). The scope of work includes regular stream water quality monitoring and collection of samples for laboratory analysis. In 2026, Biological and Habitat assessments are also required to be conducted.
