Requirement for Board Action
In accordance with Purchasing Code Section 102-394(6), the Purchasing Department shall present all renewal requests to the Board of Commissioners at least 90 days prior to the contract renewal date, 60 days if the contract term is six (6) months or less.

Summary & Background Georgia law requires the County to adhere to all EPA, OSHA, and County regulations associated with hazardous waste disposal.

The requested spending authority of $70,000.00 is sufficient to cover the costs to provide hazardous waste disposal services for Fulton County in FY2027.

Scope of Work: The Scope of Work includes, but not limited to:

The contractor shall provide removal and disposal of hazardous waste materials from Fulton County designated facilities, on an “if and when needed” basis twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.

Contractors must provide labor and material to load, remove, and dispose of hazardous waste material in EPA/OSHA specified containers. The contractor shall be required to supply the container required for various material at designated locations.
