Request approval to renew an existing contract - Department of Community Development, 25RFP1347583B-EC, Housing Rehabilitation Program in the amount not to exceed $1,002,791.54 with Meals on Wheels Atlanta Inc. (Atlanta, GA), to provide housing rehabilitation services including general program administration. The action exercises the first of two renewal options. One renewal option remains. In accordance with Purchasing Code Section 102-394(6), the Purchasing Department shall present all renewal requests to the Board of Commissioners at least 90 days prior to the contract renewal date, 60 days if the contract term is six (6) months or less.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND
Approval of the contract renewal will allow Meals on Wheels of Atlanta to continue to provide housing rehabilitation services including general program administration, contractor oversight, applicant screening and qualification and project management.
The Department of Community Development ("Community Development") contract agreement with Meals on Wheels, Inc in the amount of $860,341.54 ($647,875.54 in General Funds and $212,466 in CDBG grant funds) to deliver owner-occupied housing rehabilitation was approved by the Board of Commissioners on May 7, 2025 (Agenda Item # 25-0354).
