SUMMARY & BACKGROUND: Superior and State Courts recommend approval of Jury Management System contract modification to provide and implement a cloud-based jury management system. The Georgia Council of Superior Court Clerks ("GCSCC"), through the Official Code of Georgia Annotated ("O.C.G.A.") and the Jury Composition Rule, are required to devise and place into operation a plan for random juror selection of grand and petit jurors. Said plan shall be designed to meet the requirements of Georgia statutes, in particular O.C.G.A. ? 15-12-40.1 et. seq. Each clerk shall obtain its county master jury list from GCSCC. The GCSCC shall disseminate, in electronic format, a county master jury list to the respective clerk once each calendar year. The Jury Services Division provides ongoing jury management services to 20 Superior Court Judges and 12 State Court Judges.
