SUMMARY & BACKGROUND The Fulton County Library System request approval to use Beltline TAD Funds to complete Design/Build services for remaining Phase II Library projects.
Scope of Work: The Fulton County Library System request approval to use Beltline TAD funds in the amount of $1,114,433.67 for Design/Build services of Phase II library projects including the renovation of Peachtree Library, the renovation of MLK Library and the expansion of East Point Library to add 864 sf of space to the existing building.
Community Impact: This request involves the renovation of multiple libraries located in communities throughout the County. The successful renovation of these libraries will impact communities throughout the County.
Department Recommendation: The Fulton County Library System recommends approval of this request.
Project Implications: The Beltline TAD funds requested for use on the construction of Phase II libraries will not impact the County or Library operations.
Community Issues/Concerns: None that the Department is aware.
