Request approval of a Resolution approving the First Amendment to Lease Agreement between Fulton County, Georgia (Landlord), and the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (Tenant), to extend the lease term for the purpose of providing library services to the visually impaired at Central Library; authorizing the Chairman to execute the First Amendment and related documents; authorizing the County Attorney to approve the First Amendment and related documents to form and make all necessary modifications thereto prior to execution; and for other purposes.

Pursuant to Fulton County Code ? 1-117, the Board of Commissioners has exclusive jurisdiction and control over directing and controlling all the County's property as they may deem expedient, according to law.

Scope of Work: The Board of Commissioners, via Agenda Item 21-0355 on May 19, 2021, approved the execution of a Lease Agreement between Fulton County, Georgia (Landlord) and the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, a constitutional body of the State of Georgia (Tenant), for and on behalf of Georgia Public Library Services (GPLS). Pursuant to the Lease, Tenant rents approximately 3,161 square feet of office space at the County's Central Library, located at 1 Margaret Mitchell Square NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30303, to provide library services for Central Library patrons that are visually impaired and unable to read standard print.
