Request approval to renew an existing contract - Juvenile Court, 25RFP1391212A-KM, Family Treatment Court Peer Support Specialist in an amount not to exceed $10,000.00 with Kelly Cox (Atlanta, GA) to provide peer support services. This action exercises the first of two renewal options. One renewal option remains. Effective dates: July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. This contract is 100% grant funded. No county funding is required.

In accordance with Purchasing Code Section 102-394(6), the Purchasing Department shall present all renewal requests to the Board of Commissioners at least 90 days prior to the contract renewal date or 60 days if the contract term is six (6) months or less.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND
The Fulton County Juvenile Court (FCJC) recommends the contract with Kelly Cox for Accountability Courts Peer Support Services. FCJC is awarded grant funds from the Council of Accountability Court Judges) administered through CJCC (Criminal Justice Coordinating Council. Kelly Cox will implement peer support services to participants of Juvenile Court's HOPE. This includes random drug screens, connecting participants to community resources, helping participants connect with a sponsor and ensure participants attend weekly substance use support treatment groups.
