Request approval to utilize cooperative purchasing – Department of Emergency Management, Sourcewell Contract #101525, Used Fire Apparatus, Rescue and Emergency Service Vehicle Solutions, in the total amount not to exceed $300,000 with Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus, LLC dba Firetrucks Unlimited, LLC; Company Two Fire (Union Grove, AL) to provide a 2009 Seagrave Marauder II Custom Pumper (Apparatus) to Fulton County Fire Department for the Executive Airport Fire Department. To protect the interests of the County, the County Attorney is authorized to approve the contract(s) as to form and make any necessary modifications thereto prior to execution by the Chairman.

In accordance with Purchasing Code Section 102-462, requests for approval to utilize cooperative purchasing contracts of more than $100,000.00 shall be forwarded to the Board of Commissioners for approval.

For the Fulton County Fire Department to meet state standards for certification and to operate as a fire department, we seek approval to purchase a used fire truck. This will assist Fulton County Fire Department with becoming one step closer to providing fire protection for Fulton County airport visitors, businesses and employees.
