REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION
Board action is required pursuant to Article XXXIV. - Development Regulations, 34.4.1 Land disturbance permit prerequisites. In addition, pursuant to Fulton County Code Section 1-117, the Board of Commissioners has exclusive jurisdiction and control in directing and controlling all the property of the County, as they may deem expedient, according to and to exercise such other powers as are granted by law or are indispensable to their jurisdiction over County matters.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND

Scope of Work: The Proposed Convenience Store - 4175 Fulton Industrial Blvd. Project, a commercial development, requires the installation of sewer facilities and the relocation of an existing easement that is recorded in Deed Book 67538, Page 158. Fulton County development regulations require that all new or newly modified sewer line connections acknowledge Fulton County's ownership interests in the area(s) in which a connection is being made to the County's sewer system prior to the issuance of a Land Disturbance Permit. The new easement area to be conveyed to the County consists of 300 square feet and is located in Land Lot 23 of the 14F District of Fulton County, Georgia.

Community Impact: The community will benefit from the extension of the County's sewer system and the addition of a commercial development.
