Request approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Fulton County and Coweta County for the purposes of Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD-to-CAD) connectivity between the two Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) agencies. Effective upon BOC approval until December 31, 2027 and will be automatically renewed for up to four (4) successive five (5) year terms not to exceed a period of 25 years. (APPROVED UPON ADOPTION OF THE CONSENT AGENDA)

Request approval to enter into Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with Coweta County, a political subdivision of the State of Georgia. The municipal boundaries for the City of Palmetto are located in portions of Coweta and Fulton counties, whereas Fulton County, through its Department of Emergency Services, provides 911 emergency communications for the City of Palmetto.
Fulton County and Coweta County will both maintain and operate a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for the purposes of 911 and emergency communications throughout their respective jurisdictions.
