Requirement for Board Action
In accordance with Purchasing Code Section 102-420, contract modifications within the scope of the contract and necessary for contract completion of the contract, in the specifications, services, time of performance or terms and conditions of the contract shall be forwarded to the Board of Commissioners for approval.

Summary & Background: Consumer Directed Care is a pilot program initiated in 2025 for seniors of Fulton County. It allows seniors to choose a caregiver whom they hire to provide in-home care. Fulton County Department of Senior Services covers the cost of hiring caregivers via grant and general funds. The program exceeded its original enrollment goal by 40% and continues to scale up. As such, program costs have also increased. The program is a success and requires additional spending authority to accommodate the awarded grant funds and existing general fund budget allocation.
Scope of Work: Fiscal management services that include but are not limited to hiring caregiver employees, collecting data, providing reports, managing payroll and operational expenses of the Consumer Directed Care program for Fulton County Department of Senior Services.
