Request approval to renew an existing contract – Department of Public Works, 25ITB1421243A-ST, Standby Utility Pavement Patching & Paving Services in an amount not to exceed $950,000.00 with the K&E Group USA LLC (Atlanta, GA) to provide standby utility pavement patching and paving services. This action exercises the first of two renewal options. One renewal option remains. Effective dates: January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027. (APPROVED)

In accordance with Purchasing Code Section 102-394(6), the Purchasing Department shall present all renewal requests to the Board of Commissioners at least 90 days prior to the contract renewal date, 60 days if the contract term is six (6) months or less.

Scope of Work: The contract provides standby utility patching and paving services for projects involving less than 300 square yards where the damage was caused by water and sewer maintenance, installation, or repairs. Work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the construction and emergency repair of streets, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and other paved surfaces throughout Fulton County, in accordance with GDOT, County, and City standards.
