Pursuant to the Fulton County Civil Service Act of 1982 (Section 3, Paragraph 1 - Powers, duties, and responsibilities) and Section 001-16 (General Provisions) of the Fulton County Policies, any additions, rescissions and/or amendments to the Personnel Policies must be approved by the Board of Commissioners.

Scope of Work: These revisions expand the Fulton County Internship Program to permit departments to offer internship opportunities to high school juniors and seniors. Internships are an outstanding opportunity to demonstrate the rewards of a career in the public sector. They allow organizations to showcase the culture of the organization as well as commitment to public service. Expanding the Internship Program to include high school students will assist in bringing the next generation of workers to consider careers in the public sector.
