In accordance with Purchasing Code Section 102-420, contract modifications within the scope of the contract and necessary for contract completion of the contract, in the specifications, services, time of performance or terms and conditions of the contract shall be forwarded to the Board of Commissioners for approval.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND
The Department of Senior Services recommends approval. This recommendation to increase the spending authority is due to a grant award from the Atlanta Regional Commission to provide home delivered meals through the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA). This grant award allows for an increase in services for those seniors in Fulton County experiencing food insecurity. The contractor, Open Hand Atlanta, has provided services to eligible Fulton County seniors aged 60 and older for over 20 years. Open Hand Atlanta possesses the flexibility to provide additional meals as requested by Fulton County, with minimum impact to services currently provided.
