Request approval of a Participant Agreement for Merchant Processing Services with Truist Bank pursuant to the newly updated statewide Master Merchant Agreement for the provision of bankcard, charge card and debit card acceptance, processing, settlement, and other support services. This Participation Agreement will be effective upon approval through December 31, 2025, and shall automatically renew annually for terms beginning January 1 and ending December 31 provided each renewal period is exercised by the State of Georgia, Office of State Treasurer Merchant Program, with a final termination date of July 23, 2029. (APPROVED UPON ADOPTION OF THE CONSENT AGENDA)

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND
The Office of the State Treasurer (OST) has executed new Statewide Merchant Card Services Agreements (MSAs). As a result, OST now requires all participating entities to execute a new Participation Agreement in order to continue using Merchant Card Services (MCS) under these contracts. Fulton County currently utilizes the statewide contract with Truist/Fiserv to process electronic payments for several departments, including the Library, Senior Services, Police, Water and Sewer, Public Works, and the Courts.
