SUMMARY & BACKGROUND: This request is for the purchase of one (1) 114SD Plus Conventional Chassis-10 Yard Dump Truck (Norcross, GA), to transport materials, including dump gravel and debris.
Scope of Work: The Department of Public Works will utilize this 114SD Plus Conventional Chassis-10 Yard Dump Truck to assist in water main repairs, throughout the North Fulton service area. The vehicle will transport construction materials, tools, and equipment required for water main repairs and emergency response activities. The Dump Truck will be used to haul gravel, sand, and other backfill materials. This vehicle will enhance operational efficiency, improve response times to water main breaks, and support ongoing maintenance activities.
