Request approval to renew an existing contract - Department of Public Works, 25ITB1420997A-KM, Laboratory Testing Services in an amount not to exceed $165,000.00 with Eurofins Environmental Testing Services, LLC (Atlanta, GA) to provide laboratory testing services. This action exercises the first of two renewal options. One renewal option remains. Effective dates: January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027.

In accordance with Purchasing Code Section 102-394(6), the Purchasing Department shall present all renewal requests to the Board of Commissioners at least 90 days prior to the contract renewal date, 60 days if the contract term is six (6) months or less.

Summary & Background: The Department of Public Works recommends approval to renew an existing contract with Eurofins Environmental Testing Services, LLC, (Atlanta, GA) to provide laboratory testing services.
Scope of Work: This contract provides laboratory testing services of wastewater discharge effluent for the Department of Public Works as required to remain compliant with EPD regulations and the County’s National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit in the operation of the wastewater treatment plants. The vast majority of the analyses performed under this contract are for regulatory purposes, with the remainder used for quality control and assurance of the wastewater treatment process.
